On May 20, 2009, senior trial lawyer Clark Hudson received a defense verdict following an eight-day jury trial. Plaintiff alleged lack of informed consent and negligent care following an abdominoplasty. The Plaintiff’s case was significant in that Plaintiff suffered extensive tissue loss on her abdomen approximately ten days following the abdominoplasty.

The Plaintiff argued the plastic surgeon was negligent in undermining the vasculature of the flap for the abdominoplasty. The Defense argued the extensive tissue loss was the product of a rare, but very aggressive infection.

The Jury deliberated in the matter for approximately a day and a half, eventually returning a defense verdict on behalf of the plastic surgeon.
