Amanda Montgomery joined Neil Dymott Hudson as an associate in 2025. Ms. Montgomery's practice areas include mainly defense of medical malpractice matters. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego Defense Lawyer's Association.

Ms. Montgomery earned her Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Montgomery interned with the San Diego Public Defenders Office and a San Diego Law Firm handling civil litigation and construction defect matters. Ms. Montgomery received honors distinctions including the American Association of American Law Schools Pro Bono Honor Roll, Pro Bono Honors Society Award, Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services, and Highest Honors Award for Academic Excellence in her Clinical Externship Seminar.

Prior to law school, Ms. Montgomery attended the University of Arizona, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law and a Minor in Family Studies and Human Development. She graduated with honors and completed her undergraduate studies in three and a half years. During her studies, Ms. Montgomery was also a process server and notary.

In her free time, Ms. Montgomery enjoys scoring 120+ in golf, performing stand-up comedy, studying mycology, and volunteering at the San Diego Humane Society.
