Sarah Harty re-joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2018.  Ms. Harty was previously an associate at the firm from  2012-2014.  Ms. Harty’s practice areas include general civil litigation and transactional experience in areas of professional liability and medical malpractice, complex litigation, federal tort claims, personal injury, construction defect, employment, maritime and equine law.

Ms. Harty is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers and is admitted to practice in the State of California. In 2014, she was nominated as a Top Young Attorney by the San Diego Daily Transcript. 

Ms. Harty attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor cum laude. While attending law school, Ms. Harty was a Jefferson Fellow, a Note Writer, Editor, and Senior Editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law  Review, and an Editor for the 2011 National Conference of Law Reviews. She was also a competing member of the Moot Court Honors Society, where she was a Semi-Finalist in the 2011 Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.   In addition to her academics, she worked as a research assistant for the International Tax Department at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  She also worked as a Legal Intern for the San Diego District  Attorneys’ Office in the Economic Crime Division.

Ms. Harty is originally from Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia.  Ms. Harty attended Coastal Carolina University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science cum laude  in Business Administration.
