Thomas Livingston joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2021. Mr. Livingston’s practice areas include general civil litigation and defense of general liability matters. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Southeast Asian Bar Association, and San Diego Defense Lawyers. He is admitted to practice in the State of California.

Mr. Livingston attended California Western School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude. During law school, Mr. Livingston worked as a law clerk at two civil litigation law firms, interned at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, and externed for the Honorable John A. Houston at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Prior to law school, Mr. Livingston worked as a legal assistant in New York City focusing on structured finance and mortgage-backed security transactions.

Mr. Livingston is originally from San Diego, California. He attended Cornell University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in History and Minor in Law & Society. While attending college, Mr. Livingston was a member of the Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity, President of the Cornell Boxing Club, Senior Editor of Ezra’s Archives, member of the Cornell History Club, and played in the pit orchestra for two student produced musicals. He was also a recipient of the Frederick George Marcham Scholarship, awarded to a history major who is engaged in various activities on campus.

In his free time, Mr. Livingston likes to play and compose music, run, read, and relax with friends.
