Tina Safi joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2015. Ms. Safi's practice areas include general civil litigation and the defense of general and professional liability and medical malpractice matters. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and Lawyers Club of San Diego.
Ms. Safi attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. While attending law school, Ms. Safi served as a legal intern for the University of San Diego Entrepreneurship Clinic and was a writer and sections editor for the alumni publication, The Advocate. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Tamila E. Ipema in the Superior Court during and after law school.
Prior to joining Neil Dymott, Ms. Safi worked as a corporate counsel intern and post-bar law clerk for AMN Healthcare, where she assisted in matters involving federal and state healthcare regulations and employment law. Post-bar, Ms. Safi served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.
Ms. Safi is originally from New York and moved to San Diego with her family as a teenager. She attended Boston University's College of Communications, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and International Relations. After attending Boston University, Ms. Safi worked as a writer, editor and digital media consultant for various news publications and marketing companies. She is fluent in Farsi and speaks conversational Spanish.
