Sommer Horton was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She attended Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. While attending Florida State, Ms. Horton served as an Assistant Legislative Aide to Senator Walter Campbell, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Ms. Horton earned her law degree at California Western School of Law, where she was the President of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Board. She was also a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society and a Sophister on the Advocacy Honors Board. In addition to her academics, Ms. Horton volunteered at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Senior Citizen Legal Services. Ms. Horton also earned her Master of Law in Business and Corporate Law, from the University of San Diego.
Ms. Horton joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2004. She is admitted to practice in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. The focus of her practice is in estate planning and probate, trust administration and business transaction litigation.
