Todd Ratay was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the Murphy Institute of Political Economy at Tulane University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy.
Mr. Ratay attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal. While at USD, he served as a legal intern for Elder Law & Advocacy and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Patricia Benke in the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District.
Mr. Ratay joined Neil Dymott as an associate in 2006. His experience includes defense of professional liability and medical malpractice matters.
Before joining Neil Dymott, Mr. Ratay worked as a law clerk, where he assisted in case analysis and drafted memoranda on complex damage issues of D&O liability and indemnity.
Mr. Ratay is fluent in Spanish. In 1999, he assisted in establishing U.S. subsidiaries of European corporations in the semiconductor industry while working as a project manager for John Cabot International, Inc. in San Mateo, California.
