Constantine Buzunis, a senior trial lawyer, joined Neil Dymott in 1986 and has been a shareholder since 1994. Mr. Buzunis specializes in general civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury, government tort liability, construction defect and product liability. He has litigated cases in the areas of automobile, common carrier, premises and products liability, construction accident and defects and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Mr. Buzunis served a term on the State Bar Board of Governors and also served terms as President and Director of the California Young Lawyers Association. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Buzunis served as Director and Secretary of the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Buzunis has written legal articles for the Los Angeles Daily Journal and San Francisco Daily Journal and has been a lecturer/instructor for the State Bar of California, insurance company employees, and the Trial Advocacy Program of the University of San Diego Law School. He has an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell and continues to serve as a Judge Pro Tem and arbitrator for the San Diego County Superior Court.
Mr. Buzunis recently received the “Past President’s” award from the San Diego Chapter of American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association. He is also involved as a volunteer in community service. He received the “Coaches Special Award” from the High School Sports Association of San Diego and the “Outstanding Contributor Award” from Barrio Station in San Diego.
